Millanak hívnak

Ohoj there people of planet Earth! My name is Milla (as a reference to ones own titulation is often the best way to start a really exciting biographical story) and I am one of the most fresh EVS-kiflisz to come out of the oven at Messzelátó association. I come from a small coastal town up in the north of Finland, called Vaasa. There I grew up in the forest by the sea, isolated from most other humanoids. As a child I used to drive my parents wild by hiding from their watchful eyes with my best friends; pen and paper. So my life had a pretty clear path of interest from the beginning and two years ago I graduated with a BA in Fine Arts. This however has not excluded my other interest, keeping up to date with what's rotten in this world and simultaneously remembering the teachings of my Beatles loving father and my bold and adventurous mother. A strong personal motivator when working with environmental issues are all those childhood memories of roaming the wast and wild forests where I grew up and all the interesting animals I met there. Be it frogs, ants, elks, foxes, birds, butterflies, rabbits, ermine, squirrel, bison rat, mice, lizards, raccoon dog, beetle or any of the other wonderful creatures of the Finnish forest. I am really hoping to meet some new, exciting friends here in the forests of Hungary. On an even deeper level I need to believe that I, as a person, can make a difference towards the better for Mother nature and consequently for all of us. I sincerely refuse to be one of those people who already gave up, with the motivation 'one person can not make a difference', in Finland we have an other saying: 'many small brooks become one huge river'.
