Trip to Csakvar

On Saturday there was the terrain recognition by Messzelato in order to start the logistics and organizing in more detail the youth exchange that is going to take place on Csakvar on May, where young people from Germany, Turkey, Latvia and Spain will come in order to work together in order to start creating routs to a biofarm.

It was a good morning all the fields where still full of snow from the previous days. The house and the terrain where the youth exchange is going to take place, is a bit outside Csakvar center and next to a local protected area. There at the house we change ideas how to organize, what to do and also define tasks.

After measuring the field we went to see the place where we plan to accommodate the participants, the office of a local NGO, responsible for the local protected area and also an old water mill, the place is very nice, next there is a small lake with ducks, and is surrounded by trees.

Next stop was to meet the local pottery production, unluckly when we reach the house, it was closed and with sadness we discovered that because of lack of money it is going to be closed by the local government. After a small snack in a local Csukrasda we went to Lake Velence, it’s supposed to be one for the places where the participants will come in an excursion. We visited a bird watching tower, but we could see any birds it’s not their season and the lake was completely frozen. It was the first time I saw a frozen lake and was running there and sliding having a nice time.

After the fun we came back to Budapest.
