Messzelátó Egyesület

My name is David Pulquério and I come from the largest city and capital of Portugal, Lisbon. I am a geographer, crazy for travelling, maps and discovering new cultures, so when I saw that Messzelato was looking for someone to work on an ecotouristic map and on a nature trail I jumped out of my chair and said that I had to come.

I love hiking and swimming and I think Hungary is a great country to do both things.

I didn’t know Hungary before I came, and it’s very new for me to be in the center of Europe, and so close to everything. I lived very near the most western continental point of Europe and every time I wanted to go somewhere inland in Europe, I always had to cross Spain. In Hungary I have seven countries to choose to cross and so many ways I can go, and not to go always east.

It has also been very new to be so far from the ocean and the fish but it has been great to live in Budapest, one of the prettiest cities in Europe for me.
