Helle
Sziasztok!
My name is Helle and I was born in Estonia, a very small Baltic country between Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, with the population of only 1.3 million people. Three years ago I decided that I need to broaden my horizon and so I went to Hungary to spend an exchange year in Budapest. This amazing city became my second home and after spending two years in Finland and finishing high school in there, I'm back here again and very happy about it! During my volunteer year I hope to gain lots of work experience before I go to the university but most importantly I decided to do this because I have been worried about environmental problems for a while now, so it feels great to finally try to do something about it. And also after so many years sitting in the school bench, I'm very motivated to actually work! Before coming here I occasionally had to face a problem, that I suppose many people encounter in their everyday lives, it was the fact that I hated routine. Working with Messzeláto is definitely a solution to this problem :). I also love the fact that I'm able to work outdoors a lot and to do things that I thought are no so possible for me, for example to go on a extreme bicycle trip with my fellow volunteers :)
I don't like to stay in one place for too long, so that's why I love travelling (especially by trains and hitch-hiking), running, hiking, taking long walks, dancing etc. On the other hand if I have something interesting to do I am able to calm down for a minute or two :), for example I love to read, write scripts, to play saxophone, to learn languages and most of all to go to the cinema, hopefully I'll be a film director one day.
